Filing a claim does not prevent you from resorting to other means of dispute resolution, nor is it a prerequisite for filing a complaint with INDECOPI. The supplier must respond to the claim within a period of no more than fifteen (15) business days, and may extend the term up to thirty (30) more days, prior communication to the consumer.
